Bilateral LMN 7th CN alsy

I still remember one of the readers asked me about the causes of bilateral LMN 7th CN palsy when I posted a topic on 7th CN palsy in April.
I would say it is not uncommon in practice and I had seen one case before i.e. relapsed lymphoma patient with bilateral LMN 7th CN palsy.

The other possible causes would include:
• Guillain-Barre syndrome
• Sarcoidosis
• Bilateral parotid disease
• Lyme disease
• Mononeuritis multiplex (eg diabetes, PAN)
