Wuchereria got this for his PACES Singapore exam last year.

What is your diagnosis?

  1. This fundus showed flame hemorrahges,soft exdutes and papilloedema ,all sunm up to grade 4 hypertensive retinopathy.With differential such as diabetes,leukemia and hemoglobinopathy.

  3. How to differentiate hypertensive retinopathy grade 4 from CRVO ?.They both have many features in common.

  4. That's wright, and even both can share some features of Diabetic retinopathy. BUT, CRVO is almost always Unilateral and the other 2 conditions as bilat.

  5. cenral retinal vein thrombosis. there are multiple haemorrhages in line with blood vessels

  8. The central vein oclussion i really characteristic that you see a patern call fire and blood cos literally you can see hemorrahges in form of flames and the background seems so yellow
